Pastoral Care
Our School places great emphasis on the creation of a supportive atmosphere where children feel safe and valued, especially by having strong connections with their teachers and to other students. Students and their teachers work in partnership to help students achieve their best.
Curriculum
Our modern campus hosts two Sub-Schools, catering for nearly 1400 students in Primary School (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6) and Secondary School (Years 7 to 12).
Students in the Primary School embrace the inquiry based pedagogy.
Students in Secondary School can choose ATAR or general pathways.
Co-curricular
Our Co-Curricular programme offers students the chance to experience skills and activities in areas that are not within curriculum subjects. Our comprehensive programme offers a rich range of sporting activities, musical, dramatic, community service, recreational, outdoor pursuits and academic enrichment activities.
Students can choose to do a different activity each term. Activities offered recently include archery, cheerleading, chess, food, golf, orienteering, quilting, science club, scrapbooking, theatre sports, visual art and Zumba.
It is compulsory for all students from Years 3 to 9 to be enrolled in a Co-curricular activity at least one afternoon after School each week. For students in Years 10 to 12 participation is voluntary.
Campus
The School is situated on a magnificent, elevated, 12.5 Hectare site in Mindarie, a northern coastal suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the local neighbourhood attract appreciative comments from visitors to the campus.
We opened in 2000 and have gradually added teaching and learning spaces to our campus, including science labs, woodwork and metalwork workshops, libraries, an auditorium, drama stage and gymnasium.
The grounds include two large ovals, two nature playgrounds, multiple covered and uncovered hard courts and cricket nets.
There is easy access to public transport for students travelling to and from the School, with several bus stops nearby and the train station a short trip away.
Local attractions include the local Quinns Rocks Beach which is just a short stroll from campus, Mindarie Marina with its many cafes and Yanchep National Park to see Kangaroos.
