The City of Wanneroo and Innovation Institute have collaborated to present the 2018 Youth Innovation Forum to be held from 4th to 6th July.
The Youth Innovation Forum invites all secondary school students (12-17 years of age) within the City of Wanneroo and surrounding areas, to attend a 3 day series of workshops that will provide students with an understanding of innovation and the important roles it plays in solving community problems.
The forum will include presentations from
• Damian Martin - Australian Professional Basketballer
• Scott Millar - CEO & Founder of BOP Industries
• Ishaan Bhatia - Founder of Air Wings Australia and Director of NVS Websites and
• Thrive Well Being Workshop hosted by Dr Michael Newton & Dr Steven Kiely.
Teams will be formed and provided with an issue affecting our community and the team will create a pitch to present their innovative solutions in a special presentation on Friday 6th July from 2.30pm in the City of Wanneroo Council Chambers.
The teams will be judged by a panel and the winning Youth Innovation idea will be awarded $500.
