Our School is pleased to provide the second targeted program for ATAR Exam Preparation for both Year 11 and Year 12 students. Held from 9th July to 13th July, the courses run in the second week of the forthcoming July school holidays at our own School or in the geographical proximity of our School.
Again, PMACS will provide a subsidy for our students to take the courses, listed below.
When booking a course for your child, at the point of payment on Master Mind Australia’s website, you should select the ‘direct debit/cheque’ button at the checkout. At this point, the company will have your child as being registered as a Peter Moyes ACS student. Payment in that case would be $90 per subject (instead of $160), with 9 hours of teaching and $75 per Essay Writing/Study Skills subject with 4.5 hours of teaching. It is expected that students attend each day of the course during the week.
Students who participated in the April program found that each course was well worthwhile, both from an academic sense and for parents, from the generous discount given by the School to our students for the Subject Revision courses.
In particular, for our Year 11 students who have switched courses for Semester 2, the subjects offered in July provide an opportunity to fast-track revision of course material that they have not covered in Semester 1.
