During the holidays, Ella Plichta from Year 2 and her teacher Mrs Sue Todd had the pleasure of visiting the Mayor of Wanneroo, Mrs Tracey Roberts.
Earlier in the year, Ella had written a letter of concern about the number of trees being cut down to make way for development. This letter was forwarded to the Mayor, who organised a meeting where Ella had the opportunity to ask Mrs Roberts some environmental questions.
It is wonderful to see our students taking such an active role in the care of our local environment and to hear what the local council has in store for our area. Well done Ella!
