This annual competition gives primary and secondary students in WA an opportunity to design an advertisement based on an authentic advertising brief from one of eight participating organisations and, in doing so, learn about advertising, design and persuasive language.
Almost one thousand advertisements were entered into the competition this year and were judged by representatives from each company. The winning ads were chosen based on their visual appeal, originality and creative concepts.
Five Year 6 students were selected from Peter Moyes:
- Joscelyn Melendez - “Foodbank”
- Samantha Luckman - “Sizzler”
- Mitchell Briggs - “Sunsmart”
- Amelie White - "WA Day”
- Lauren Adam - “Dept. of Primary Industries and Regional Development”
Each student received $100 prize money and all winning entries were published in the 22nd August edition of ED! Magazine in The West Australian.
