On Thursday 16th February, the theme of the Senior School Assembly was to celebrate achievements; in particular, those of a group of our 2016 WACE cohort whose results placed them in the highest achieving students not only from PMACS, but across the nation.
Gracing the stage to firstly be congratulated for their achievement but also to provide their perspective of how they managed Year 12 to enable them to gain such excellent results were 6 of the 8 students who gained an ATAR of 95 or higher. In naming this group as belonging to the 95+ Club, we hope that their messages inspire our current students to gain the highest ATAR possible.
Connor Atkinson, Phoebe Harold, Amy Liddell, Hannah Macdonald, Yohannah Smolders and Caitlin Young participated in a Q&A session where students in the audience asked for tips and strategies they found useful.
All six students are looking forward to the beginning of their tertiary educational journey shortly, where coincidentally, all will be starting studies for their Bachelor Degrees at the University of Western Australia.
Unfortunately, Ross Godwin and Kai Hudson-Wood, also members of the Peter Moyes 95+ Club, were unable to attend due to work commitments.
The School wishes all of the 95+ Club the best in their future studies.
