Three Middle School students recently competed in the Nippers Surf Sport State Championships at Scarborough and Trigg Beaches on 10th, 11th and 12th March.
Kier Liddell (Year 7) received a bronze medal for the 1km beach sprint and was part of the bronze medal winning pair for board rescue.
Travis Woolley (Year 7) and Kier were part of the team that won second place in the 100m beach relay sprint.
Daniel Mann (Year 8) won a bronze medal for beach flags.
Congratulations to Kier, Travis and Daniel for an outstanding performance. They are to be commended for getting involved in their community. In a few years’ time they will be patrolling our local beaches with the Quinn's Mindarie Surf Club.
