Recently, Year 9 students were presented information about Year 10 elective subjects for them as Year 10 students in 2019 from the Heads of Department in non-MESH (Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities) areas.
Shortly, additional information will be provided in the form of the Subject Selection Handbook. This provides a digest of subjects for Year 10, as well as an indication of those provided by the School for students in Years 11 and 12.
In selecting electives, students it is useful to consider where these subjects lead to in Year 11. This is because past achievements and practices are the key pointers for future success in Year 11. Students should also select electives which match their aptitude and skills.
More information about the selection process for electives in Year 10 2019 will be communicated directly to parents.
Early in Term 3, parents have the opportunity to meet with their child’s Head of House for a Subject Selection interview. More information about this process will be communicated directly to parents.
Please note the dates of 16th and 23rd July, as these are the two days when the interviews will be scheduled.
