On Thursday evening, 3rd August, we were treated to a thoroughly enjoyable concert of 23 songs including soloists and ensembles. Our singers were well supported by guitar, piano, ukulele and percussion students and staff. It was wonderful to hear the many appreciative comments from students and parents afterwards and thanks must go to John Trotter (drum tutor), Antonietta D’Ellia (voice tutor) and Aaron Graham (guitar teacher) for preparing students, playing and organising this concert. The stage looked extraordinary with the new floor lights in particular a feature, and the lighting and sound technology all ran flawlessly so we thank our experienced auditorium staff in Michael Connolly and Andrew Frankish. It was an evening of many highlights including the opportunity for 50 year one to twelve students to play repertoire together all of which concluded with exciting performances of “Viva la Vida” and “Beautiful Creatures” by our PMACS Vocal Ensemble.
