On Monday 1st May, Senator Scott Ludlam from the Greens Party paid a visit to the Year 11 and 12 Politics and Law students from Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. Also in attendance were students from Mandurah Baptist College, Prendiville Catholic College and Irene McCormack Catholic College. Senator Ludlam gave us an insight to the composition and daily functions of Australian Government. There followed a conversation where students had the opportunity to ask a number of questions to Senator Ludlam, exploring a wide variety of issues present in today’s society.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to conduct a question and answer style forum with the Senator and were very grateful at the opportunity to gain greater insight into the workings of the Australian political system.
