On Thursday 8th March 2018, the Year 9 Photography and Year 11 and 12 General and ATAR Design classes went on an excursion to Sculptures by the Sea in Cottesloe . The Cottesloe exhibition features over 70 sculptures and is enjoyed by 260,000 visitors annually since 2005.

The students had a fantastic time viewing the artwork and taking creative photographs. The Year 9 Photography students were instructed to create a “Portrait of a Place” to capture the mood and atmosphere of the event.

The excursion not only extended the students ability to view an artwork, but to also learn to document public art installations in an artistic way.
