A group of Primary School students competed in the State Cross Country Carnival last Friday, 18th August. There were over 1500 students, representing over 90 schools that attended the event. A superb effort from the students saw the School finish second overall, which is an amazing achievement.

In the individual categories the Year 4 Girls team placed third, the Year 5 Boys team placed second, the Year 6 Boys placed third and the Boys team placed second overall. This was a fantastic end to the cross country season.

We would like to congratulate all the runners on the commitment and dedication they showed to training as well as for their performance on the day. I would also like to thank all the parents who supported the event and Mrs Goosen, Mrs Peacock, Mrs Curtis and Mr Curtis for their assistance with training.
