If there was one way of ensuring that one of the driest autumns on record came to an end, it was to organise the Primary School Cross-Country Carnival. Luckily, the rain fell early on Friday 5th May and the runners competed in  warm and dry conditions.

Despite the course distances being increased slightly, the attitude of the students was outstanding and a pleasure to see. The house spirit and camaraderie on display created an extremely positive atmosphere and there were some excellent races.

A big thank you should go to all the parents who assisted on the day. The event could not have run without you and your help ensured the carnival was a success.

Well done to all involved!
