On Friday 11th August, the Year 3-6 students participated in the Primary School Inter-House Athletics Carnival. Thankfully the rain stayed away; however, the high winds made for some tricky conditions. The students behaviour, effort and sportsmanship was a credit to them once again, and a great day was had by all.

The inaugural Mums and Dads 100m sprint event proved to be one of the highlights of the day, with Mrs Linelle Peacock and Dr Jurie Otto Olivier taking first place respectively. The final results saw a huge upset, with Durack crowned as champions, ending Hollows six year winning run.

A big thank you to the many parents, staff and students who helped with the organisation of the day, it could not have taken place without them.
