On Wednesday 18th October, three Primary school students represented Peter Moyes in the inaugural IPSHA Paper Airplane Competition held at St Stephen’s School, Carramar. Takudzwa Nyirenda, Mason Fisher and Callum Hackman competed against students from 12 other schools in the Distance category of the competition. It was their first experience of competitive paper airplane making and throwing. I would like to congratulate the students on their good performance, excellent team spirit and sportsmanship. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who attended the event.

If you would like to try out your own paper airplane making skills, here are the records that were set in the first Primary IPSHA Paper Airplane Competition:

  • Furthest Distance: 28.08 metres
  • Longest Airtime: 8.40 seconds

Happy folding!
