The 2016 NIPSSA Athletics carnival took place at Charles Riley Reserve on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October. Day 1 events included the running of the 800m and 400m alongside the Long Jump, Turbo Javelin and Shot Put. The 200m, 100m, Relays and Team Games all took place on Day 2.
Some excellent performances, most notably in the Shot Put and Javelin events, placed the team amongst the leaders at the end of Day 1. Unfortunately, the team could not continue its momentum on Day 2 and finished in 6th place.
Our students are congratulated on the sportsmanship and determination that they showed over the two days.
