Wednesday 25th October saw our annual Middle School Music Concert. The Concert was in two parts namely a performance for the whole of Middle School in period seven, followed by an evening performance for families and friends. Music students enjoyed performing, and students, staff, families and friends enthusiastically received the concert. After the evening concert, staff, students and families enjoyed light refreshments.
The concert had much variety including the Middle School Choir, PMACS Vocal Ensemble, several vocal soloists, piano solos, a violin trio, Jazz band, two rock bands, and guitar solos. Similarly, the repertoire varied with classical, contemporary, folk and African musical genres included. All were well rehearsed, and with excellent lighting and sound ran smoothly, enhancing the high level of musicianship and entertainment. Many thanks to the teaching staff, peripatetic music staff, auditorium staff, catering, administration, and especially our music students and their families.
