Oon 29th May 2018, 10 classroom representatives from Years 4 to 6 and the Primary Chapel Leaders represented the School at the Independent Primary School Heads Association (IPSHA) Ecumenical Service at Kingsway Christian College.
When the students arrived, they were provided with morning tea and then participated in some crowd breaker games and activities before they were directed to the service in Kingsway’s new auditorium.
The aim of the occasion was to bring all the Independent Schools of Western Australia together, participating in a theme chosen by the hosting school, which for 2018, was ‘Colour Your World’. There was dance and drama performed by the Kingsway Christian College students with participatory singing interspersed through the service. A presentation by the School Chaplain was a simple message saying that we can all make this world a better place, but to do this, we all must all share in acts of kindness.
Each school also donated to the Kids with Cancer Foundation.
