In our Indonesian classes this term with Ibu Swailes, we are learning how to play games in Indonesian. We are mainly focusing on the game of ‘Monopoli’, however we briefly covered UNO as well. Our assessments focus on the use of the Indonesian language while playing the game of Monopoly, so every Friday we get to practice what we have learnt over the week and play a game of ‘Monopoli’ with our friends. It is all in Indonesian so we are really challenged to use what we know, and what we have learnt to be able to play the game, and some of us have really surprised ourselves about how much we are capable of.
