In January a group of 2017 Year 6 students were chosen to be part of the Grill’d Local Matters program at Grill’d Ocean Keys. Mia Bushell, Luke Foster, Kate Hopkins and Wil Tulloch were selected following on from the Year 6 Charity Day held late in Term Four last year. Grill’d Ocean Keys also generously donated vouchers to the Year 6 Wishing Tree Markets to help raise money for the Wishing Tree Appeal.
Each month three worthy local programs are selected to be featured at each local Grill'd restaurant as part of their Local Matters campaign. Every time someone buys a burger from Grill'd they are given a token to pop into a jar for one of the featured programs. At the end of the month the program with the most tokens wins $300 and the runner-up charities each receive $100.
Well, the tokens have been counted and the PMACS team has come out with the most. Thank you to everyone who supported Mia, Luke, Kate and Wil by visiting Grill'd Ocean Keys in January. They now have $300 to donate to their chosen charity. Well done!
