A number of our Year 11 students will participate in the Anglicare Schools Sleepout overnight on Friday 4th August.
This will help to both raise awareness of some of the difficulties and challenges faced by young, disadvantaged homeless people and raise funds for Anglicare’s Street Connect programme.
Street Connect is a mobile youth resource centre that provides support, referral and information to young people on the streets. It receives no government funding, and so relies on philanthropic funding.
Students to attend are:
- Tayla Lamb
- Jasjit Ghataure
- Carlie Ettridge
- Katie Robertson
- Hollie Johnson
- Temara Thomson
- Harriet Springett
- Hannah Kelly
- Olivia Puzey
Staff attending are Linda Pilton and Nicole Jackson.
If you would like to sponsor these students for this cause, each student has a personal fundraising page at: https://fundraise.giveeasy.org/fundraising_event/anglicare-wa-school-sleep-out/
If you would like more information, please contact Linda Pilton.
