On Monday 20th March, the Swimming Squad participated in the ‘C’ Division ACC Swimming Carnival at HBF Arena. The carnival was especially close, with many of the races coming down to mere tenths of seconds between four or even five places. Our students performed to the best of their abilities, many attaining personal best times.

Our Swimming Squad did themselves, their School and their coaches proud, placing 4th overall with some superb individual and notable relay team performances. To finish just 6 points behind 3rd and just 16 points from 2nd goes to show how close the Carnival was.

Overall, the Boys placed 4th, narrowly missing 1st by just four points and the Girls placed 5th. The Senior Boys placed 2nd while both the Junior Boys and Junior Girls placed 4th.

The team’s spirit and cohesion was clearly evident which made it a highly pleasurable day to be a part of. Congratulations to our outgoing Year 12 Seniors who have represented the School with vigour, enthusiasm and pride over their years at School, including our outgoing Senior Captains Logan McPhan, Jared Griffiths and Astha Sinha.
