Constable Care has successfully communicated safety and crime prevention strategies to generations of Western Australians for over 30 years. Whilst synonymous with primary school students, they now have an extensive programme for older students. Please read the following information and contact them directly if your child would like to be involved.
The Your Call Film Competition for Years 7-12 is also now open, and your students can submit a short film on street safety to enter. There is a cash prize pool of $6,000 to be won and the shortlisted entries are screened at a VIP gala event at the WA Screen Academy at ECU. For more information visit www.yourcall.rocks/competitions
Finally, we’re also again offering our highly effective City After Dark nighttime safety walking tours through the Perth CBD and Northbridge. Led by a WA Police Officer, they provide groups of Year 10-12 students, teachers, and parents with a real-world understanding of street safety in entertainment precincts. They are now heavily subsidised by our partner City of Perth and cost just $100 per 3-hour tour group. For more information visit www.cccsf.org.au/programs/city-after-dark
